Why Does Grace Change Everything?

What is grace? It is unmerited favor. Grace is being accepted by God even though you do not deserve it nor are you worthy of it. It means that God receives you merely upon His grace. God does not love any one person more than another; He loves ALL equally and gives ALL equal access to His throne of grace.

Through God's grace we are forgiven for all of our sins, which separate us from God, through the simple act of believing in what Jesus said and did. Our salvation is not based on works. Man will never be able to fulfill all of God's requirements through his own efforts. Our forgiveness and salvation rest on the actions of Jesus and God's grace toward man. Jesus finished the required tasks and fulfilled all of God's requirements. You are saved by God's grace through faith alone, not on the basis of any good works you have done. What is your responsibility? To believe in Jesus and receive the love and grace which God freely offers.

Ephesians 2:8-10 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." NKJV

God has called you into a loving relationship with Himself. He desires to have an intimate, compassionate and fruitful relationship with you. All God asks is for you to believe that He has extended this grace to you through His Son, Jesus. God does not want you to carry around a huge list of "do's and don’ts” but desires that you live in the freedom, hope and joy that only He can provide.

Romans 3:21-23 "But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on ALL who believe. For there is no difference; for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," NKJV

In His wondrous love and grace, you can experience life freely. Although you may stumble and fall, your mistakes will not remove you from the presence of God once you believe in Jesus and accept what He did for you. When you discover His gift of grace, you cannot do anything to harm the loving relationship you have with Him.

Titus 2:11 "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to ALL men," NKJV
