Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (NKJV).
But too often we listen to our own voice for guidance when we should be listening to God.
In the Bible, David experienced legitimate fear and doubt when King Saul was trying to kill him. Even though God had promised David he’d be king, he listened to his own doubts and fears, and acted on those. And we do the same thing far too often.
We want you to learn from David’s wilderness experience with David McGee’s Audio series
Lessons from the Wilderness.
This exciting study explores David’s wilderness time in 1 Samuel 25–29 and will help you grow in your own ability to trust God and wait confidently on Him no matter what you’re facing.
Lessons from the Wilderness is our way to thank you for your gift below to help more people around the world grow in God’s life-changing Word.
Your gift directly impacts folks like Debbie, who learned the importance of staying connected to a local church. She recently shared this with me:
“Not long ago, I told my husband I wasn't going back to church because I felt I didn't fit in. Last Monday when I got in my car, your sermon was about being accountable to God, and your statement was: ‘Oh, you will always find something wrong in a church no matter where you go.’ The Holy Spirit convicted me and let me know it was me, not my church family. I knew the Lord was speaking through you to me. I keep CSN on my radio for my daily inspiration. Thank you!”
And thank you for giving generously to help reach even more people like Debbie.
